Quality Control 

At North Basin Coating, Inc., we know that without quality, we have no business.  To maintain our quality, therefore, we have an established Quality Control Program. 

All pieces leaving our facility are inspected for correct grinding (if required), proper anchor pattern, mil thickness, holidays, and proper cure. 

In addition to normal inspections, we have a Documented Inspection Program to insure all aspects of our coating process are adhered to: 

One day each week, a random manifold will be chosen for inspection and will be inspected per the following procedure: 

1. All welds will be inspected for correct grinding prior to abrasive blasting.
2. The anchor pattern will be checked prior to primer application.
3. The mil thickness will be checked after completion of coating.
4. The manifold will be checked with a low voltage, wet sponge holiday detector.
5. The manifold will be tested for proper cure.
6. All tests will be recorded on the inspection sheet and signed by the inspector and NACE Certified Coating Inspector.
